Day Of Mourning April 28

Across Canada, April 28 has been designated the Day of Mourning. Every year, workers, families, employers, and others come together at ceremonies held around the province to remember those who have lost their lives on the job, and re-new our commitment to creating safer workplaces.

Enough to Mistreatment!

Security workers across the U.S. and Canada are saying “enough” to mistreatment on the job. We are standing together for the right to: • Fair wages to support ourselves and our families • A voice on the job to ensure best practices for both techs and management • Dignity and respect for performing skilled work for customers • A work/life balance that allows time with our families and in our communities • Job security and a future for helping maximize our employer's profits

Stop Bill C-377

MP Russ Hiebert’s controversial private members’ bill calling for full public disclosure of union financial affairs has come in for a detailed and scathing analysis from two professors in the faculty of business administration at the University of Regina.
