Since my last report, we had 56 journey book in and 44 were cleared to work. We had 22 apprentices book in and 14 were sent to work. This month has been fairly slow in dispatch, with the majority of calls going to Local 2038 in Regina. There will continue to be calls there as long as we keep filling them. These calls are just barely getting filled, so if you would like to get on one these projects in Regina please pay close attention to the website/nightline.
Ross Morrison Electric has advised Adam they are looking to get busier in the Lower Mainland soon as well as Houle Electric, Mott Electric and Olympic Controls. Please ensure the Union has your current contact information. You can do this by logging on to the website or by contacting the Union Office.
We have many volunteer projects starting soon; if you have time please take the opportunity to get out with the sisters and brothers and get some community work done. This is a rewarding way to spend your spare time.
