The Cable Contractors workload remains steady. There will be a labour/management meeting scheduled for some of the larger contractors. Members should contact their shop stewards for input (eg training issues, shifts, overtime, and contract increases to wages if you were dispatched at the 50% rate).
Corey Montgomery has accepted the Shop Steward position at Pacific West Cable and will join Colleen Lopez-Anhofer to represent all of our brothers and sisters working under the IBEW 213 Cable Contractors’ collective agreement.
The next shop steward course will be held on Tuesday, April 17th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. If any member wishes to attend, please contact Glynis Jones at the Union Office.
