Add Your Voice On Site C

The NDP government has made the courageous and difficult decision to move forward with Site C. As someone who has dedicated their career to building this province, your voice is very important.

The decision to proceed with Site C is a chance to turn the project around and provide opportunities to hire more local workers, apprentices, Indigenous people and women in trades.

Tell the government what proceeding with Site C means to you. Here's how:

  1. Visit the BC Government Legislative Assembly website at www.leg.bc.ca/learn-about-us/members and find your MLA on the list.
  2. Click their name, and then their email address to open a new email message.
  3. In as few or as many words as you wish, tell your MLA why you think the decision on Site C was a good one.

I support the new BC Government’s decision to move forward with the Site C hydroelectric dam.

As a tradesperson myself, I appreciate the immense opportunities Site C will provide to local BC workers, including apprentices, First Nations and women in trades — and by extension to the families they help to support. I know this was a difficult decision for government, and that there were many different views and contributions that had to be considered. But I’m glad to see that at the end of the day, continuing Site C was still the best choice. It is the right decision for me, for my family, and for BC.

Thank you for that.
