IBEW National Representative Laird Cronk was elected President of the BC Federation of Labour at its 58th Convention today. Brother Cronk went into convention with the full support of a swath of provincial trade unions, and in the end was elected by acclamation.
Also acclaimed was Sussanne Skidmore for Secretary Treasurer. Sister Skidmore is the BCGEU Executive Vice President and a well-known social justice and human rights activist.
From everyone at IBEW 213, congratulations to both Brother Cronk and Sister Skidmore. We are excited for the unity, progress and strength that you will bring to the BC Fed.
