The Inspectors and Technicians agreement with the City of Vancouver has now been signed and copies will be distributed to the members. The draft agreement for the City of Vancouver (EOB) has been received and during proofreading, Mike has found a couple of corrections that will be addressed. Mike is still awaiting a response from the City on two grievances – Medical Appointments with the E.O.B. and life insurance for a member over 65 years of age working as an Electrical Inspector.
A frustration level has been reached with CHUM Satellite Services by both this office and the membership. Hopefully we’ll see some movement next week.
A reminder to members – if you are off work for any prolonged period of time, check with the Business Office to see that dues are current.
