Beaver Electrical Machinery -the collective agreement is complete and will be delivered on June 25th. As well, the mailed ballots regarding the pension/RRSP will be counted on June 25th. The result of the ballot count will be mailed to the Company.

At GE Canada the company should be signing off the collective agreement within the next two weeks.

Also at GE Canada, if any member has in interest in the next shop Stewards course, please contact Mirko.

At Shaw Cablesystems, the collective agreement should be signed off at our next scheduled labour/management meeting.

At Delta Cable (Eastlink), negotiation dates have been rescheduled - dates to be confirmed.

CATV Cable Contractors - the members elected the negotiating committee at the card called meeting held on June 2nd. The first meeting for formulating proposals will be held June 22nd.

Netcom Training Committee has completed the new service course, complete with a comprehensive two volume binder. Dates to be confirmed. Please contact your Shop Steward or Netcom trustee for additional information or register online at netcomtraining.org. The last Digital Phone course held at BCIT was well attended with positive feedback on course content and theory including hands-on
material and tools.

Any CATV member interested in the next Digital Phones or Construction Basics courses should register online.
