Call for Volunteers for Lights of Hope

It’s our 20th Anniversary

and we NEED YOUR HELP!!!

Volunteers are needed to assemble the 2017 Lights of Hope display

 Under the supervision of construction & safety supervisors we need to:

 

  • Wrap Scaffolding
  • Raise Nets
  • Install Large Platinum Stars
  • Install Fences
  •  Hang stars on scaffold
  • Install lights in tunnels
  • Decorate Bushes with Lights
  • Wrap/decorate trees with lights
  • Crowd control
  • Refreshment helpers and more……

DATE:            Saturday October 28  2017

TIME:             7:00 AM until we are done

(Note: we will need some construction helpers right through cleanup)

location:          St. Paul’s Hospital, Front Courtyard, 1081 Burrard Street

parking:            St. Paul’s Hospital Underground Parking. Passes will be provided. 

Please wear:   Steel toed boots or hiking boots, gloves

Dress for the weather (we set up rain or shine)

If you have a hard hat and/or safety vest – please bring it

(they must be worn) otherwise we will supply

Coffee, goodies, lunch, and drinks will be provided. All volunteers are invited to the Nov 24th Lighting Celebration at the Sheraton Wall Centre
