IBEW 213 Annual Training Conference

The 2023 Annual Training Conference returns to the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown hotel in Burnaby on October 21 & 22.

Courses at this year's conference:

Grassroots Organizing

Did you know? IBEW 213 is one of the top organizing locals in not just Canada, but the IBEW. Organizing is the first Objective in the IBEW Constitution. Organizing non-union workers into unionized workers strengthens the local union through solidarity, increased employment options, and level playing fields to name a few. In our oath to the IBEW we pledge to “further the purposes for which the I.B.E.W. is instituted.”, but how do we do this? How are we, mere members, workers, tradespeople, supposed to know what to say to our non-union family, friends and acquaintances? Grassroots Organizing trains members how to “talk-union” and the steps required to initiate organizing drives.
